This is the audio recording of the second panel entitled "Publishing Database Books" during Day 1 at the "Extending Knowledge and Publishing Infrastructures in and from Africa" Workshop held at the British Institute of Eastern Africa (BIEA) on December 8, 2025. The panel explored the role played by two key socio-material infrastructural agencies involved in the “Database as Book and Lively Community Archive” experimental book project, the data platform (PECE) and the publisher (African Minds). Panelists included Mike Fortun and François van Schalkwyk.
