This essay curates the various pieces of documentation produced during and in preparation for the hybrid workshop held on Dec 8 - 9, 2025 as part of the "Database as Book" development process. We imagine this event as being part of both drawing in a larger public of potential contributors and also as part of a more expansive peer-review process.
The workshop was held at the British Institute of Eastern Africa (BIEA) and was attended by approximately 36 people and 10 online.
